Obituary of Violet Van Sickle

Violet Julie Van Sickle passed away at age 89 at Wellsprings Assisted Living Facility on Tuesday, November 20, 2018. Violet was one of seven siblings born to Joel and Pearl Mahala on September 2, 1929 in Creston, North Carolina. Violet married Glen in 1953. They were married 52 years. They had four girls – Judy, Joanna, Glenda, and Carolyn. She also raised three of her grandchildren – Donnie, Raymond, and Wesley Hibbert. Violet loved to read the Bible and tried to live by it. Violet had several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She now rests with her husband Glen and daughter Glenda in Huntington, Oregon.
