Obituary of Jerry D. Cada

Jerry Duane Cada passed away at home in Middleton, Idaho October 18, 2018 surrounded by family. He was born December 29, 1946 in Midvale, Idaho to Tony and Mildred (Jacks) Cada. He married Terrie Leffler and they had three girls: Jodi (Ron) Brown, of Gooding, Jacki (Doug) Corta, of Eagle, Cindi (Dustin) DelCurto, of Halfway, OR. Jerry graduated from Midvale High School, Treasure Valley Community College and Lewis Clark State College. He worked building power line towers, then went to work for Garret Freightlines, retiring from Consolidated Freightlines. During retirement he did what he loved most, auctioneering and working for saleyards. He is preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law Doug Corta, and nephew Kevin Sale. Jerry is survived by his wife Terrie, his three daughters, his seven siblings: Ilene Goff, Faye Nye, Judy (Ron) Sale, Roger (Linda) Cada, Wayne (Jody) Cada, Cary (Danielle) Cada, Darlene (Doug) Black, eight grandchildren: Caleb Hitt, Mallory Brown, Braden Brown, Mackenzi Corta, Bentli Corta, Demi Corta, Dax DelCurto, Lexi DelCurto and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family would like to thank Harrison Hope Hospice for their kindness and compassionate care. A celebration of life will be held Thursday, October 25th at 2pm at The Weiser Vendome Center, 309 State Street. Potluck dinner to follow. Arrangements under the direction of Thomason Funeral Home.
