Obituary of Allyssa Jeanette Stark

Allyssa Jeanette Stark,26, of Ontario died October 4, 2018 at her home. Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Origins Faith Community Church, 312 NW 2nd St. Ontario. Allyssa was born in San Rafael, California. She attended school in Saratoga, California; and graduated from Ontario High School in Ontario, Oregon. She completed an undergraduate degree at the University of California Santa Cruz, and she worked in California for a couple of years. Her love of the Treasure Valley and her family led her to return to Ontario, where she worked as a Medical Assistant. Allyssa was a kind and joyful woman, and her gentle, caring soul was visible to all. Allyssa knew the world well. Her high intelligence and tremendous heart allowed her to see far beyond what meets the eye. She felt for others and loved so hard. She acquired more knowledge in a day than most of us learn in a year. She made friends wherever she went. When you got to know her well, she could keep you laughing for hours. You knew Allyssa had a heart of gold when you saw her with children and animals. Allyssa loved kids, and kids fell in love with her instantly. She chose love over pride in countless moments. Allyssa is survived by her father Mark, her step-mother Kathleen, her mother Christine; and by her sister Marie, and her brothers Nick, Matt, and Robert; and many other friends and relatives. She will be desperately missed by all. With her memory so present in our hearts, we hope to learn and grow, following her example of how to have more compassion and put others first.
