Obituary of Darrell T. Allen

Darrell T. Allen was born to Harry and Margaret Allen in Bend Ore. in 1938. He has two sisters Janice and Joyce who were also born in the same area. After Joyce was born the family bought a farm on the Oregon Slope were they farmed for the next eight years. Darrell went to school in Ontario and later graduated Gem State. The family moved a lot and it wasn’t long before they moved to Florence were Darrell was employed at Weirhauser Mill were he excelled. A few years later they were on the move again and went to Colorado to log. In Colorado he met Joanne Kelley and was married soon after. They had three children; Cynthia, Deirdra, and Cari. Cari also had three children; Chase, Ciera, and Callie Cooper. He loved the Oregon Coast and enjoyed spending time on the beach. He had two Standard Poodles named Buck and Bear and loved to walk them on the beach. He was also very close with his father and loved to go fishing. I’m not sure why they always got sick but would do it again first chance. He spent the last part of his life In Ontario at their motel Colonial Inn. He is proceeded in death by his father ,mother, and Buck and Bear (the loves of his life).He was a good man, with a big heart He will be missed more than he could ever know.
