We are so sorry that the world has lost this lovely person, who was so much admired by all. Roxanne was a student, singing in the Bakersfield College Choir when I first met her in 1964. Even then as a young woman she was very sweet, compassionate and well loved by her contemporaries, who mourn her loss today. She was a special favorite of our four year old daughter and took special time to befriend her. Roxanne attended a choir reunion in 2016 and appears on the documentary about the 1965 choir tour, telling of the win in the 1965 International Eisteddfod, the audience with Pope Paul VI and the visit to the White House Rose Garden to sing for President Lyndon Johnson. It says a lot about Roxanne and her life that even last week she was in touch with many of these friends from the 1965 BC choir, and busy encouraging them in their troubles. Roxanne was a great friend and a wonderful woman.
