Obituary of Sharon Kay Hill

Sharon Kay Hill, 72, Vale, Oregon, passed away Christmas morning at her daughter’s home in Vale. Funeral services will be held in Ironside, Oregon, cemetery on December 29, 2018 at 11 a.m. Services under the direction of Lienkaemper Chapel, Vale.

Sharon was born on August 28, 1946 in Linneus, Missouri, to John and Helen Cooper, growing up in Nyssa and Vale area.

She enjoyed her family especially her two grandchildren that were the light of her life. She very much enjoyed her grandsons wedding in Sumpter and celebrate with many friends and family. A time we will never forget.

Sharon is survived by her daughter Vick Applegate her grandchildren Tyler Applegate, his wife Amy and granddaughter Hailey Applegate all of Vale. Brothers, Lloyd Cooper (Luretta), Floyd Cooper (Mertha), sisters Linda Roberts, Vera Webster and Vernie Eggers and brother-in-law Ronald Green.

Sharon was preceded in death by her infant brother Clayton, sister Charlotte, brother Wayne, brothers-in-law Billy Roberts, Victor Webster, Harry Eggers, her parents and husband Kirk Hill.

Her wonderful laughter, stubborness or, as her grandchildren call it, sassyness, will be greatly missed. Her firm and never ending belief in the lord gives us comfort knowing she is in his arms.
