Obituary of Daniel Francis Bachini

Daniel died peacefully in his home on February 21, 2019 in Nyssa, Oregon at the age of 76.

Daniel is survived by his wife Marketa, son Mateo (Jennifer) Bachini of Deltona, Florida, daughter Megan (Chad) Robbins of Nyssa, Oregon, sister Marie (James) Stein, and seven grandsons: Antonio, Josh, Dylan, Daniel, Curt, Christian, and Ryan. He leaves behind many friends and family members whom he loved. He was preceded in death by his parents Aldo and Florence Bachini.

Daniel was born on July 18, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois to Aldo and Florence Bachini. He graduated from University of Notre Dame in 1964 with a degree in Finance. He met his wife, Marketa (Markytan), during flight lessons and they were married in 1976 in Carmel, California.

A funeral service is scheduled for 11:30 AM Saturday, March 9 at St. Bridget’s Catholic Church in Nyssa, with a reception to follow. Father Anish Phillip will officiate the service. A rosary will be scheduled for 11 AM at the church with the service to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Daniel’s life.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Bridget’s Idaho Catholic Youth Convention (ICYC) fund.
