Taylor Ruiz

Obituary of Taylor Alia Ruiz

Taylor Alia Ruiz, eight years old from Fruitland, Idaho passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones on March 8, 2019. Taylor’s passing was due to complications associated with Muscular Dystrophy. Taylor came into this world on June 1, 2010 and instantly made Joel Ruiz Jr. and Shandra Musser the happiest parents in the world.

Taylor was born with all the sugary sweetness you could imagine in a little girl, but at that time...we had no idea how strong-willed and determined she would become. Soon after her birth. we were told Taylor would never walk. but apparently someone forgot to tell Taylor...as she figured out her own special way of doing so.

Two years later. Taylor was blessed with her little sister, Zoe...instant best friends and partners in crin1e. Taylor loved Zoe with all her heart and the two of them were inseparable. When Taylor was four years old, she lost her ability to walk, but she did not let a wheelchair slow her down. She handled that transition gracefully and wheeled full speed into the hearts of everyone she encountered.

Taylor loved animals, art, babies, shopping and playing with her friends. Taylor was a girly girl to the max and loved all things to do with makeup, perfume and glitter. but it was her beautiful. long finger nails that were sacred and always divine.  Taylor love d adventures...big or small. She enjoyed camping. fishing and anything that involved playing outside.

Taylor was the glitter and sunshine that encompassed our days and forever changed the lives of everyone she met. Every rainbow you see and every flower you smell should be a reminder of Taylor’s power and beauty. The warm sunshine on your face is

Taylor ' s way of letting you know...she is free and now able to dance in the heavens.

Taylor is survived by her parents. Shandra and Ben Musser. Joel Ruiz. Olivia. her

siblings Zoe, Natalia, Kyle, Ace, Amaya, Zaya, Tia Maggie, Aunt Brittany, Uncle Dalton, all her Cousin/friends and her many amazing grandparents/great grandparents. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of Taylor' s amazing care givers and medical providers.
