Obituary of Charlotte M. Green

Charlotte M. Green, 78 years of age, of Weiser, Idaho passed away on March 12, 2019 peacefully.

A Celebration of Life for Charlotte will be held on Saturday, March 23rd, 2019, 10:30 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Weiser. This day will be a celebration of Charlotte’s life in Christ in faithful service to God, friends and family.

The service will be from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. and lunch to follow. During lunch there will be an open mic should anyone would like to share their memories of Charlotte.

Charlotte was born October 30, 1940. She was born, raised and graduated high school in Weiser, Id. September 7th, 1963 Charlotte married Robert Green and they celebrated their 50th Anniversary together on September 7th, 2013. Robert passed away August 2014.

Charlotte, Robert and family farmed in Weiser and the Vale area. Charlotte serviced the community with her business “CHARLOTTE’S CLEANERS” for 14 years of which she started the Coats for Kids program. She was involved with 4-H and PTA. She also was active with St. Agnes Catholic church and the LDS church. Her faith in God was inspiring. She was a member of the Elk’s Lodge, Chamber of Commerce and was the 1st woman to hold the position of Lieutenant Governor of the Kiwanis Club. Charlotte was also elected “Woman of the Year” by Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. 

Charlotte’s nickname was “Gabby” for those who knew her. Charlotte’s love was her family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Charlotte enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing, antiques, crocheting and Nascar. She also enjoyed visiting Jackpot Nevada. 

Charlotte is survived by daughter, Diana Green, son, Allen Green of Weiser, sister Viola Lovegreen Bichler (Anton) of Meridian, Brother, Charles Lovegreen of Emmett, she is also survived by grandchildren, and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and cousins.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Green, parents Eva and Charlie Lovegreen, and son, Bryan Green.
