I am so grateful to have known and loved my Auntie Kay, and to have been loved by her. We went to Ontario for Christmas and in the summer every year and I have so many wonderful memories of her. She taught me to make Basque rice and the world's best macaroni salad and always seemed to have a fresh batch of cookies coming out of the oven. Auntie Kay was always beautifully put together, no matter what was on her schedule for the day - stylish from head to toe and as I grew up, she gave me many fashion tips. I loved going shopping with her. There was always room for one more at her table, or to stay overnight with the cousins. I remember lots of laughter and fun with her. I hope that Joey, Patrick, Lori, Mark, Lisa and Vicki, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren are comforted by knowing how much she loved them, and by thinking of her reunited with Uncle Joe, her sisters (JoJo and my mom) and her parents.
