Cece and a friend of ours shared a care center room for about seven months. We had the privilege of getting to know her during visits with our friend. Cece called it like she saw it, and was as tough as they come. Her strength and endurance were unmatched, plus she had a wonderful smile and deadly sense of humor! Rest well, dear Lady. Jane and Pete
We are sorry to hear about Cecelia's passing. Over the many years we enjoyed her visits and phone calls. She always kept in touch with family members. Our deepest sympathy to all of the family. May God comfort you at his time.
Art and Sue Butts
We are saddened to hear of Cecilia's passing. My family and I had the privilege of sharing a Thanksgiving lunch together a few years ago. It was a good time and we have pleasant memories of her. May God be close to you during this time.
I posted a condolence but seems to have disappeared. So again aunt Cec was the keeper of our family history. She carried the flame and wanted all of us to know our ancestry and how the Peterson and Butts family made it to idaho. I was so intrigued about the history that some of our cousins.Cec's research led to remote grave sites on the Salmon River. I was able to document all of her findings. Cec published books on the Peterson and Butts family. Because of her work, I know about a loving caring family of farmers. Cec took care of me when I was struggling with alcohol and kept me safe. Much love to her and family members.
