Obituary of Maria del Rosario Saldivar

Maria del Rosario Saldivar, 93 of Weiser, Idaho passed away at her home.  Services under the direction of Thomason Funeral Home.  A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 7:00 pm at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Weiser.  A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, October 4, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at St Agnes Catholic Church with burial to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weiser, Idaho.

Rosario was born May 5, 1926 in Tlachichila, Zacatecas Mexico, daughter of Romulo and Guadalupe Macias Saldivar.  She was raised in Mexico.  Rosario married Jesus Saldivar and together they had 10 wonderful children.  In 1979 the family moved to Weiser, Idaho and continued living a beautiful life together with her children and grandchildren.

Rosario was a stay home mom.  She spent her golden years pursing her passion for her children, grandchildren, knitting and gardening flowers, making her delicious gorditas, but the most important thing for her was praying.  She was God’s prayer warrior.  She spent 57 wonderful years with Jesus Saldivar the love of her life.

She is survived by her children:  son, Jorge and wife Minerva, daughter Juanita and husband Jesus, daughter Guadalupe and husband Hector, son Ramon and wife Elayne, son Jose D. Saldivar, son  Martin and wife Leticia, daughter Rosa and husband Ricardo, son Romulo Saldivar, daughter, Maria M and husband Luis and a total of 23 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 1 beautiful great-great granddaughter. Her two brothers and two sisters.

She will be resting in peace with her beloved husband and daughter Guadalupe Saldivar and her eight unborn children.
