Obituary of Jesus Davila Cuellar

Jesus Cuellar, 77, of Ontario, Oregon peacefully passed away October 7, 2019 in the comfort of his home.

Jesus was 1 of 15 children, 10 sisters and 4 brothers. He was born to Tirso Cuellar and Lupe Davilla Cuellar on June 24, 1942 in Taff, Texas. Jesus was raised in Texas, and later moved to Weiser, Idaho in 1967. During this time, Jesus found his passion playing the accordion and even started his own band. In 1976, he met the love of his life Maria Cuellar, together they enjoyed the music lifestyle and married in 1996. Combined they had a total of 9 kids, David Cuellar, Belinda Cuellar, Luie Cuellar, Delia Cuellar, Brenda Cuellar, Susanne Martinez, Joe Cuellar, Lisa Lopez, and Jesse Cullar. Jesus had 34 grandkids, 39 great grandkids, and 5 great-great grandkids. It would always bring a smile when Jesus saw his grandchildren. Among the many other things he also enjoyed watching western shows, cooking, and gardening. In 1990

Jesus’s life changed when he accepted Jesus into his heart.

Jesus worked a majority of his life as a farm labor, and then worked for the Alcohol Recovery Center in Ontario, Oregon, for 13. Jesus retired in 2007, but continued to work for Lee Farms as a truck driver until the age of 68. He was a great man and loved teaching his grandkids the accordion. Jesus is preceded in death by his father Tirso Cuellar, his mother Lupe Davilla Cuellar, and his two sisters Janie and Maria Cuellar. Borrao will be greatly missed.

Viewing will be held Thursday, October 10 from 10 am - 12 pm at the Ontario Lienkaemper Chapel. Memorial services will be Friday, October 11 at 1 pm at the Calvary Chapel.
