Obituary of Ramiro Martinez

Ramiro S. Martinez, 81, of Vale, Oregon passed away at his home on Monday, January 13, 2020. Ramiro was born on January 8, 1939 in San Benito Texas, the son of Aurelio and Maria de Jesus Martinez.

He was raised in Texas until the family moved to Vale.

Ramiro married Ernestina Lugo in 1962, together they had 5 children.

He is survived by his daughters Dorinda (Jeff) McPheeters and Katherine (Jim) Dunning; sons Jonathan Martinez and Adam Martinez; 6 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren, with one on the way.

Ramiro was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Ernestina, son Ramiro “Mitch” Martinez Jr., 3 brothers and 1 sister.

A Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Lienkaemper Chapel in Vale, with Funeral Services following at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Vale.
