Judith Claire Groves Pomeroy

October 5, 1937 - October 13, 2020

Judith C. Pomeroy, 83, Weiser, Idaho died October 13, 2020 at home.  Services will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2020.  Graveside will be at Parkview Cemetery, New Plymouth at 10:30 am.  Celebration of Life will be immediately following at 11:45, Weiser Community Church, Weiser, Idaho.

 

Judy was born October 5, 1937 at New Plymouth, Idaho. The daughter of Charles E. and Mabel C. Barnett Groves.  She lived 21 years in New Plymouth, Idaho before marrying Raymond H. Pomeroy in 1958.  She joined Raymond, and together they operated a dairy and ranch in the Midvale, Cambridge area.  Judy's life consisted of loving her family well, attending church, reading, sewing, quilting, crafts and oil paintings are just a few of her favorite hobbies. 

 

Survivors include her 5 children, Janet and her husband Michael Forslof of Ferndale, WA; Jennifer Pomeroy of Weiser; Kelly and Amy Pomeroy of Manns Creek; Brian and Tracy Pomeroy of Weiser; Tim and Corrie Pomeroy of Nampa. 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

 

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, husband Raymond Pomeroy, sister's Lois Schrecongost, Vera Holady, Betty Cook and brother's Eugene Groves & Lynn Groves and sister Pat Woodington.
