I will always remember Roger's smile. When he smiled or laughed he lit up the room. Especially when he laughed at his own jokes! He loved Peggy with his whole heart. The two were a team who worked hard, laughed hard, and worked some more! It didn't matter if they were in the middle of nowhere because they had each other. Roger was a man of few words, probably because he couldn't get many in around us, but when he did talk we listened. He was a man who loved ranching and had great vision and goals for improvement. I know Roger is healed and whole and up in heaven waiting for his family at the Pearly Gates, but we will all miss him until we see him again. It doesn't surprise me that he gave his life trying to save another.
12This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. 13Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. John 15: 12-13
All our love and prayers are with you Peggy and all of Roger's Family.
