Malinda,I am so sorry to hear of Gary's passing. I know the last few years were hard on you and I thank you for keeping him as comfortable as possible. Gary and I met in Vietnam and as with everyone Gary met, we hit it off. We were squad leaders at the same time, so we worked together often, Gary was a Wolfhound's Wolfound. He was always there when you needed him and he was a man who always had your back. His passing , hit me very hard and He will always be in my memories. I will always remember that no matter how bad it got in Vietnam, Gary never lost that smile. please remember that the Wolfhound family will always be there for you. Again, he will always be missed and remembered . I loved that guy. Wolfhound Brother Rick Lambert

Malinda and family,
Words cannot express how sorry to hear of Gary's passing. All our hearts are broken and tears are flowing for all of you. Our Wolfhound family will not be the same with Gary gone. He brought so much joy, laughter, and love to each of the reunions. Our life's came complete when we found and were reunited with the Wolfhound family and we all will be a part of each others life's forever and ever.
All our love and prayers are with all of you.

A brother has fallen.
We Love you Gary and you will still be a part of our Life's until the Last of us take our Last Breath.
We were sent to Vietnam on a Mission but the Mission changed after being there only a few days.
We all came to know that our job was to keep each other alive and to someday go home standing up if possible.
Gary was a big man, with big hands, a Big Laugh, and a Big Heart! Now that you out rank us, Please Look out for our well being and help guide us on home to our final destination. May you Rest in Peace!
Love ya,
Your brother Wolfhound Bob Coffey

It was such an honor to called Gary’s friend! From the first grade right on thru to the end, Gary was the same guy as always. He loved his family, his ranch, his cows, his horses and worked sun up to sundown taking care of them. When I would stop by to visit it would usually involve a lot of laughs & memories.... many that were about our classmates & old school days. He was rock solid in his beliefs and respect for his fellow man. He called a spade a spade and didn’t mix words about it. His love for his kids Ben & Theri, his wife Malinda were also so very important to him... ( not to mention the 5000 Cleaver extended family) the last few years were tough on Gary and his family but all the years I’ve known him I never heard him wine or complain about much! He took life as it was handed to him and got on with it. We all could learn some lessons from Gary .... we lost a good friend & he will be dearly missed. RIP my friend
