Obituary of Lloyd W Seley

Lloyd W. Seley, 91 of Weiser, Idaho passed away May 24, 2021.  Born Nov 29, 1929 in Brown CIty, Michigan to Walter and Mildred Mahaffy Seley.  Lloyd graduated from Brown City High School in 1948.  After high school he went to work in the automotive industry.  He joined the Michigan Air National Guard from 1950-1951.  He served at Luke Air Force Base Arizona during the Korean War.

Lloyd married Faye Cousins Seley on July 28, 1951.  He worked at  Chrysler in Detroit through the 50's helping build the Redstone Rocket that put our first men in space.  

In 1960 he moved his family to Rancho Cordova, California where he took a job at Aerojet General, building rocket engines.  He and his wife Faye joined a square dancing club and a mixed doubles bowling league.  Lloyd also helped start and coach in the Rancho Cordova Little League.

In 1970, He moved the family agian to the Treasure Valley and opened his own appliance sales and service business in Ontario, Oregon.

He is survived by his 4 children, Brent, Dennis, Ella and Harold.  Nine grand children and 16 great grand children.  He will be laid to rest with his wife taht preceded him in death.
