Obituary of DiAnne Marilyn (Fife) Chamberlain

DiAnne Marilyn (Fife) Chamberlain, 70, of Ontario Oregon passed away peacefully on August 12, 2021, at 8:20 AM in Boise, Idaho.

DiAnne was born December 5, 1950, in Nyssa Oregon to Eliza Gertrude Lloyd and Leo John Fife. She was the 6th of 7 children and raised in Nyssa Oregon. On October 20, 1971, she married Clinton Chamberlain in the Idaho Falls temple in Idaho Falls, Idaho.  They would have celebrated 50 years of marriage this year. Together they raised 2 sons and 3 daughters in Adrian Oregon. Moving to Ontario Oregon in 1995 where they finished raising their youngest daughter. DiAnne went back to college and graduated from TVCC in 2008 with an Associate of Arts degree.

DiAnne was very talented. She loved making crafts, blankets, crochet, and hand knitted items for family, friends and sold some of her creations. She was well known for her quilts, afghans, cabbage patch kids, and many more things. It is doubtful that any family member doesn’t have something which she made for them. She was very giving and always thinking of what she could make for her family, friends, acquaintances.

DiAnne was very involved in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with callings in the Primary, Relief Society, Library, Cub Scouts, long-term Family History Consultant. She enjoyed children and working on genealogy.

She is survived by her husband, Clinton Chamberlain, her sons: Donald (Pam) Chamberlain of Logan, UT, Peter (Kristie) Chamberlain of Eugene, her daughters: Paula (Zane)Chancellor of Kuna,ID, Janet (Jamie) Conant of Baker City, and Lucie Chamberlain Rexburg ID. She is also survived by her Siblings: Carol Green, Garry (Karen) Fife, sister-in-law MinNette Emmel, Blaine (Marion) Fife, Toni Mendenhall, and Connie (Steve) Munn. She had 5 granddaughters and 8 grandsons that she loved more than anything. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews including several who grew up with her. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Donald Bruce Fife, and brother-in-law, Glen Green. 

Funeral Services will be held Friday at 11:00 AM, at LDS Ontario 2nd Ward building. It will be preceded by a family viewing at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at the Hilltop Cemetery in Nyssa, Oregon. There will be a Luncheon after the services at the LDS Nyssa Stake Center for the family.  Arrangements and Services by Lienkaemper Chapel, Ontario.
