Obituary of Kenneth Oscar Botts

Kenneth Oscar Botts born March 21, 1931 to James and Ella Botts at Ione, Oregon. He passed away September 17, 2021 in Weiser, Idaho.

He was employed by the railroad.  He became a heavy equipment operator and later a John Deere mechanic working in Nyssa, Oregon and Hinton Oklahoma.

He married Iona Burnett July 14, 1962 is Taft California becoming a dad and grandpa on the same day.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years Iona Botts, a daughter Wanda Davis (Bill) of Weiser, Idaho, a son Roger Burnett (Carol) of Frankton, Indiana, a son Lynvel Burnett of Oakridge, Oregon. A sister Betty Woods of Portland, Oregon and a host of nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parent, eight siblings, a daughter and a son.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  He will be greatly missed. 

Arrangements under the direction of Thomason Funeral Home .  A vistation will be held Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 9:00 to 5:00 at Thomason Funeral Home in Weiser.  Graveside services will be Friday, September 24, 2021 at 11:00 am at Salubria Cemetery under the shelter.
