Janine, Christine, Cora Lee & Jeremey
My condolences over Larry's passing but rejoicing in knowing that his absence from this world means he is present with the Lord he served so well for so long. I shall forever remember Larry as someone who, in my memory, never spoke ill of anyone (although he may have rolled his eyes a time or two). And as a reporter he really did have the integrity to get the story right. I regret that I will not be able to attend the service as I will be out of the area all this next week.
At the end of communion Sunday at the Nyssa church we always gathered in a circle and sang the first and last verses of Blessed be the Tie that Binds. The last verse always comes to mind when a saint has gone home. "When we asunder part, it brings us inward pain, but we shall still be joined in heart, and know we'll meet again." Larry awaits us.
God Bless you, Bill Nichols
