Obituary of Jimmy Ray Hysell

Jimmy Ray Hysell 83 of Vale, Oregon passed away Monday, July 4, 2022. He was born April 19, 1939, in Belle Fourche, SD. He was the oldest child of Glenn and Evelyn Hysell.

He married Eva Perry, June 7, 1959, in Vale, Oregon. They had five children, Curt, Angela, Jay, Toby and Duston.

He was the second-generation owner of Hysell Pumps and owned a Coast-to-Coast Store. He then went to work for the City of Ontario Water Treatment Plant until retirement.

He was a member of the Malheur County Sheriff’s Posse. He enjoyed bareback riding, snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, and taxidermy.

He is survived by his wife Eva, and four sons, Curt (Dee-Dee), Jay, (Lori), Toby and Duston. One sister Myrna Spriggs. Eight grandchildren, Colby, Colton, Heather, Shaylin, Trenton, Wyatt, Collin, and Ashton and seven great grandchildren, Myranda, Andrew Morgun, Logun, Weston, Macie, and Copelynn.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and daughter, Angela.

At his request there will be no service.
