Obituary of Margaret Funk Toombs

Margaret Funk Toombs, 85, of Nyssa died June 28, 2022 at her home. Margaret was born in Logan Utah. To Marlowe Biggs Funk and Martha Geddes Stephens Funk. An older sister Bette Barbara Funk Worthen. They lived in Preston Idaho. She passed away at the home of her daughter ( Kathie ) in Parma Idaho. She had been leaving in Nyssa Oregon before she became sick. She has 4 Children. Mike (Marci) Toombs, Kathie (Fred) Keller, Roxie Joyce, and Troy (Francine) Toombs. 12 Grandchildren: Tonya (Ryan) Pederson, Shawn (Callie) Keller, Monte (Megan) Toombs, Shane (Dana) Keller, Mike Brooks (Terrye) Toombs, Brandon (Jen) Joyce, Chassidy (James)Heiberg, Teddy (Ryan) Joyce, Brett Toombs, Jake (DeNali) Toombs, Pat (Ashley) Joyce, and Clinton (Samantha) Keller. 33 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren with one due in December. She loved spending time with her family and friends, reading, and baking. She worked as a dispatcher for the Nyssa Police Department and for Malheur County until she retired. She loved her job. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, August 6, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. Nyssa Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
