Berniece Maxine Easton was born July 8, 1941, to Tracy & Thelma Mefford, in Nyssa, Ore. She died July 24, 2022, in Boise, Idaho. Berniece is preceded in death by her husband Harvey Easton, parents Tracy & Thelma Mefford, sister Carylee Mefford, brother Stanley Mefford & grandson Cody Howard, sister-in-law Ila Jean Mefford

Berniece is survived by Michael (Gayle) Howard of Craigmont, ID, Harvey Daniel Easton of Milwaukee, WI, and Julie (David) Cram of Leesville, SC. She had 12 grandchildren & 22 great-grandchildren. Brothers, Clifford Mefford of Meridian, ID & Glenn Mefford of Ontario, Ore. She has numerous nieces & nephews.

Berniece worked at the Twilight Restaurant in Nyssa, Ore. Harvey was one of the many people she met there. He asks her for a date & the rest is history.

Berniece was mainly a homemaker for her & Harvey. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last year. She loved doing crafts and spending time with her family. As a couple, Berniece & Harvey loved to ride motorcycles and had many friends they went on trips with. They loved to camp and travel in their motor home  She loved to travel and see new places.

Berniece had such a positive influence on the people around her. She will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latte-day Saints, 1309 Park Ave. Nyssa, Ore. There will be a viewing at 10:30 with the funeral service starting at 11:00. Intermit will follow at  Hillside Cemetery in Nyssa, Ore. All are welcome to attend.
