Obituary of Jasmine P. Grijalva

Jasmine Preciosa Grijalva, 23, of Ontario, Oregon passed away Monday, February 21, 2024, in a local hospital.

Jasmine was born September 22, 2000, in Ontario, Oregon, the daughter of Veronica Leos Grijalva and Marcos Grijalva. She was raised in Ontario, Oregon. She is an alumnus of St Peter's Catholic School. She graduated from Ontario High School in 2019. She then attended college at Western Oregon University where she majored in Criminal Justice with a minor in Forensic Psychology.

Jasmine was a hardworking young lady. She spent her early years volunteering at St Peter's. She enjoyed swimming and softball as recreational activities. Her favorite was being part of the OSCAR's Swim Team in Ontario for a few years. Employment includes working at Matsy's, babysitting and finally Oregon Department of Human Services. She dedicated her free time supporting her brothers in their sporting events. She enjoyed reading, diamond art and coloring. 

Jasmine is survived by her mother Veronica Leos Grijalva from Ontario; her father Marcos Grijalva from California; her two brothers Marcos and Cristian Grijalva from Ontario; her grandparents David and Ana Leos from Ontario; numerous aunts and uncles along with several cousins. 

Services will be held Monday February 26 at Blessed Sacrament  Catholic Church in Ontario with a Rosary beginning at 10:30 and Funeral mass at 11:00, Reception immediately following. Condolences can be made to the family at http://www.lienkemperthomason.com.
