Obituary of Floyd D Nelson

Floyd Donald “Don” Nelson, 68, of Weiser, Idaho passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024 in his home. Services will be held at the Weiser Senior Center on March 23rd 2024 at 1:30pm for those who would like to pay their respects and say their goodbyes. Friends may contact his daughter for further information. Don or as his granddaughter named him “Chache” was born August 30, 1955, in Council , Idaho, the son of Floyd and Myrna Nelson. He was raised in the area and lived between Idaho and California as an adult. Don worked as a cook for the better portion of his life, making incredible dishes and running various different restaurants. He finally retired in 2021 and spent the rest of his days with his family and dog, Coco. He is survived by his daughter, Alice Barrales and her husband and children; his step son Benjamin Corona and his family; two sisters Sonja and Cobi; his brother Shaun; numerous nieces and nephews; and his mother Myrna Nelson. He was preceded in death by his father.
