I am very sorry for your loss. Sue has always had a special place in my heart.
I want to tell a story about how Sue impacted our son's life. Our son was in 3rd grade in the public school and could not read at all. He was in Special Education, but he was still not learning to read. We knew Doris Craig, 1st and 2nd grade teacher at Treasure Valley Christian School and shared our concerns with her. She was willing to meet with our son on a Saturday and gave him some sort of a test. She told us she believed he could learn to read! We took him out of the public school in November and enrolled him in 2nd grade at TVCS. Mrs. Craig had him go out every day during reading instruction to work with Sue. She went all the way back to the 1st grade lessons with our son. That year, he learned to read! I believe he would NEVER have learned to read without Sue's help and the help and wisdom of Mrs.Craig!! He graduated from Northwest Nazarene University with a degree in Computer Science and works today as a programmer. He has a wife and two children. The impact Sue had on his life cannot even be measured! Our family will be forever grateful for the blessing of Sue!
