I have many happy memories of traveling to Weiser with my Mom, Sherri Nall, and my sisters to visit Aunt Betty and Uncle Howard. Darla had the most amazing selection of Barbies and we would play while Aunt Betty and Mom visited. Although I have not seen her recently, I heard her distinct voice when she called my Mom after my Dad passed in January. To Darla and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Rest In Peace Aunt Betty❤️❤️
I’m sure sorry to hear this news. When I think of Betty I have to smile. She tried so hard to keep me and Darla in line when we were in high school. She had her hands on her hips a lot! really liked her lasagna so she promptly gave me a grocery list and made me learn how to cook it. Her garden was beautiful. I’m sure she’s tending one now. My condolences to the family, with love, Deb.
I met Betty around 1973, when Jim and Darla started dating. Betty and Howard were so welcoming to the Harberd clan and we quickly became a larger family. Betty, I hope you have a fabulous flower garden in Heaven! And look up GP and see what she is up to!! Lisa Harberd Grover
